ARE YOU NEW TO OUR PARISH? WELCOME! |
Welcome to those who want to make our parish their faith home. You may have come from other places. You may have been “away for a while”. Be assured that we love to have you among us. We would appreciate it very much if you identified yourself at Mass. It would also help if you would take the time to fill out a registration form. The next time you are with us, you may leave it in the collection basket or give it to one of the ushers or to the priest.
Thank you and welcome. |

SUMMER BIBLE SCHOOL A SUCCESS
The Bible school "Camp Ark : Acts of Random Kindness" sponsored this summer by three Anglican churches (St. Stephen’s Buckingham , St. Thomas, Silver Creek and St. John’s , Glen Almond ) was, according to everyone involved (children, parents and organizers), a great success. Students from five different denominations: Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran and United attended the camp. A total of 14 children attended the 4 day camp (ages 3 to 12). Children learned bible stories and really enjoyed themselves, according to parents. A total of 7 children from our two Parishes attended the camp.
The closing session was attended by over 50 people and parents were impressed with the skit on the Good Samaritan that was presented as part of the closing session. The camp was led by Marnie Brown who was supported by the Rev. David Lajeunesse and his wife Yvonne.
