SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
Our two parishes are in the process of determining if there will be sessions for sacramental preparation for Reconciliation/First Communion as well as Confirmation. In order to better plan for these sessions, parents should register with the Secretary no later than January 30th 2011 for both sacraments. Once registrations are received, we will determine what, when and where these sessions will be offered.

ST. MALACHY WARDEN VACANCIES
Please note that one Warden is required for a three year term. If you wish to become a Warden, you may call the office at 819-986-3763, or contact one of the Wardens. If you know someone who might like to become a Warden and help with his/her parish in that capacity , you may nominate that person, but please have his/her acceptance prior to the nomination. Nominations are required by December 26th, 2010. The Term begins January 1st, 2011.

- will present a Financial Report for 2010, at a meeting of the Parishioners in January 2011.

We are very fortunate in this community to have responsible Corporations citizens such as Brookfield that are committed to supporting a wide range of initiatives within our community.

THANKS TO THE OLV SOCIETY FOR THEIR SUPPORT
On behalf of all Parishioners, the OLV wardens would like to thank the OLV Society for their generous donation of $1,600.00 in support of two key Parish activities. The funds are to be allocated as follows: $ 800.00 towards our roof project and $800.00 towards our oil budget. It should be noted by all that the Society, through their efforts, have greatly contributed to the quality of our Parish life.

SUNDAY ENVELOPES
Sunday envelopes for both St. Malachy and OLV are available this week-end at the entrances to the churches. If you are new to the parish or would like to use Sunday envelopes, you may call the office at 819-986-3763. The envelopes that are assigned to individuals are the only record that we have of your donations in order to issue receipts for Income Tax purposes.

BAKE & CRAFT SALE
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion are having their Craft & Bake sale on December 19th, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
