SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
Our two parishes are in the process of determining if there will be sessions for sacramental preparation for Reconciliation/First Communion as well as Confirmation. In order to better plan for these sessions, parents should register with the Secretary no later than January 30th, 2011 for both sacraments. Once registrations are received, we will determine what, when and where these sessions will be offered.

ECUMENICAL SUNDAY SCHOOL
The next Ecumenical Sunday School service at St. Stephen’s will be held on February 6th at 11 am.

PRAYERS & SYMPATHY
- requested for Marion (Pearson) Champagne whose funeral was held last Monday on January 17th at St. Gregoire. Our prayers and sympathy are with the Champagne family.

WEEKLY ENVELOPES
If you have not yet picked up your weekly envelopes they are available for pick up at the top of the stairs. If you are new to our parish or would like to start using envelopes, you may call the office at 819 986-3763. This is the only record that we have in order to issue you a receipt for income tax purposes.

If you wish to have a receipt please provide us with a self-addressed stamped envelope. You may drop this into the collection basket or drop it off at the office.

ROOF PROJECT DONATIONS
An anonymous donor has donated $100.00 towards the roof project. The donation was made in memory of Veronica Belter. We thank the donor for their thoughtfulness and generosity.

ST. MALACHY FABRIQUE
- will present a Financial Report for 2010, at a meeting of the Parishioners in January 2011.

ST. MALACHY WARDENS' MEETING
The next Wardens' meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 25th at 7:00 p.m.

VALENTINE’S DANCE
The OLV Wardens will be sponsoring a Valentine’s Dance to be held on Saturday, February 19th featuring the Phil Casey Band from 8:30 pm to midnight, followed by a light lunch. The dance will be held in the church basement and the ticket price will be $10.00. Tickets will be on sale as of January 23rd from the wardens or from Alma. Come out and enjoy an evening with your neighbours, friends and of course your honey pie/darling.

ST. PATRICK’S TEA
Our St. Pat’s tea will be held on Saturday, March 19 – please reserve this date for an afternoon of fun and friendship. Also, we are looking for volunteers to work in the kitchen the day of the tea. Duties include: preparing food on plates, doing dishes and having fun. Whoever is interested please let Monique know at 986-3166. There will also be a table set up to purchase Salsa and butter tarts and a few handmade items. All proceeds will go to Cancer for the Relay for Life.

The Relay for Life will be held on Friday, June 10th, 2011 under the Brady Bridge. All are invited to attend this event either as walkers or visitors.

Please note that soft drink cans, beer and soft drink bottles are still being collected by Monique and all monies raised goes to this event.
